Yamaha EZ AG Electro Acoustic Midi Guitar Playing Amazing Eric Clapton T...

Here is my Yamaha EZ AG Midi Electric Acoustic Guitar that sound great and is packed full of features, With Guitar Learning software built and the ability to input and output midi its great for learning guitar, for busking, gigging, karaoke and of course home and pro-studio recording. Unlike conventional guitars you don't need to tune it and with its built in amp and headphone socket its great for semi silent practise. Although there is great software that plays guitar for you if you play keyboards this guitar allows the guitarist to control the multiple sounds in the guitar or external software and sound modules via midi instead of the keyboard player doing it. Its also a great way to learn guitar as you can see from the Eric Clapton song Tears In Heaven tutorial demo. I'm currently selling this on eBay due to my deteriorating 'Lego Hands' due to arthritis and unlike others who say it works I like to show the things I'm selling working especially when they my #fixed1t toys and give you a chance to buy some #fixed1t memorabilia , I'll be selling more things on my circus-frontman and fixed1t ebay accounts over the next two years so I can move onto new things to do without my finger picking hands LOL Malcolm aka  @fixed1t

Tom Cruise Soap Opera Effect LG SMART HDTV Fix

This video is about Tom Cruise Soap Opera Effect LG SMART HDTV Fix

fixed1t Tech Support tip

In A Recent Video Tom Cruise Highlighted How Video Interpolation On HDTV's Causes So-Called " Soap Opera Effect" Making a Hi- Resolution Film video look like it was shot in High Speed Digital i.e. its much poorer quality.  So You Are Not Seeing The Film As The Film Maker Wanted You To See It.

BUT, Turning Interpolation Off Isn't Easy As Different Manufacturers Call It Different Things So Finding It Is Very Difficult.

As I Own A LG SMART HDTV I Decided To Look For "Video Interpolation" And Its Not There. This Is

How I Turned Off Video Interpolation And Stopped The So-Called Soap Opera Effect. If your wondering why I haven't played a HD video in the background when fixing this problem, that would have got my video pulled for copyright breach.

One Stop For fixed1t AMAZON Influencer and eBay Links

I've been invited to be an AMAZON Influencer by AMAZON due to my 520+ Youtube videos, 6000+ subscribers and over 6 million watches on the fixed1t Youtube videos which can be found at:

I'm really excited to be offered the chance to be an influencer is especial useful for me as it gives me an AMAZON 'vanity' page where I can post information on the kit, equipment, products I use and recommend from my fixed1t work.
I get thousands of requests from people for information on what equipment, parts, gadgets and chemical etc I use and its been a real pain to find them or even to tell them where to get them as YouTube and eBay will not allow you to include personal emails and links in videos or sales.

Now there is a single place I can send people for AMAZON related equipment. All of the equipment I recommend and use myself so I'm more than happy to ask question you may have in this blog.

So please take a look and let me know if there is anything you'd like me to review or you think I should recommend.

Click Here For The fixed1t Influencer Page

Please forget to subscribe and please consider sharing fixed1t or my influencer page with your friends and family.

Best Wishes
Malcolm aka fixed1t

If you do not use AMAZON don't worry as I will post links for the equipment in my videos here, just click on them to go direct to the parts.

Thanks Malcolm aka #fixed1t

BANDAI TECHPET And SMARTPET Revisited - Part 1

Its not unusual for new technology to be over hyped and marketed 5 - 10 years before its time, such things become can become a fad for some then rapidly dissappear due to factors beyond the manufacturers control.  Such was the case with the BANDAI TechPet or SmartPet

The problem it had was that the whole concept was that of a Robot Dog (with a tiny amount of the functionality of the top of the range SONY AIBO).  But the unique selling point of the BANDAI dog was that it had a robotic body, but the brain and head were an Apple iPhone 4/4s or iPodTouch.

Now this seemed like a great idea and good use of technology, but at the time these phones were highly prized items, very expensive and quite frankly were being used as phones. As the sales of the BANDAI dogs were low the development of the technology slowed to a standstill and stopped.

What also contributed to the demise of the BANDAI TechPet / SmartPet was the ridiculous oversight of BANDAI not bothering to produce an English Manual, despite the device have onboard english instruction and help.

They also only post the TECHPET and SMARTPET Apple IOS APPS to the Japanese APP Store, which was as still is difficult for non-Japanese users to download from.

So we move on 6+ years to 2018 and the iPhone 4/4s phones are old, often discarded and lying around in quite significant numbers in households, possibly unused as they are relatively slow and their second hand value is low(not worth the effort to sell), or they have become kiddies APP players.
So in a series of posts I’m going to be taking another look at the BANDAI TECHPET and SMARTPET and I’ll start over the next few weeks by:

Putting together English Instructions
Putting together an English User Guide
Tracking down the TECHPET and/or SMARTPET IOS APP
Then I’ll power it up and creat some demonstration videos
Then I’m going to open it up and peer inside
Then I’m going to use new technology to control its body

I hope you come along for the ride.

Sandisk ExpressCard SD Adapters Review And Recommendation

If you haven't watched the video here is the link:

You will have seen that I tested two Sandisk ExpressCard Adapters, one for SD Cards and others

and the other specifically for SD Cards the SanDixk FlashBack Adapter.

They were both capable of transferring very large video and pictures files from the SD Card from my:

in a matter of minutes, were my attempts using a USB 2 SD Adapter failed constantly around 4gb after over 16 minutes leaving me to constantly try again.

Having an ExpressCard Slot in my MacBook Pro I investigated available cards and the SanDisk came up.  If you, like me regularly deal with enormous files using USB sticks, this is a much faster and more efficient solution.

To make it easy for you I have created links to purchase either card, depending if you want it to be flush with the adapter or protruding.  These adapters are very cheap and you can find prices using the links below.  If your only interested in using a Flush Fitting SD Card Clicl On The Link Below

SanDisk ExpressCard Adapter For SD, SDHC, MultiMedia Card Etc
SanDisk FlashBack Adapter Reader for SDHC SD Memory Express Card New SDAD-111

However, If your a interested in using the range of cards listed on the multiple adapter use this link:

SanDisk Adapter Reader SDHC SD Memory Stick PRO Duo Express Multi Card SDAD-109

For less than the price of a 64gb SD card you can get a high speed transfer solution.  If you have an ExpressCard Slot on your machine its a no brainer, do like I did, check its compatibility with your machine and operating system, and if its compatible Buy One.  In fact I'm going to buy a few more for my other machines and stop using slow USB sticks.

I hope you like the video and the review.  If you find it useful share it widely, after you've purchased your adapters as they could become very very popular.

Giggling Toddler Playing With Flashing Skitterbot Robot Bug

I first came across SKITTERBOT Robot Remote Controlled Bugs when I fixed1t one, and liked them so much I bought a batch to video a swarm sequence.  When I gave one to 12 year old Pascal for his birthday, his little brother, 2 year old Olli announced it was his, as they do :-)  And when Pascal put down the Remote Control Olli was on it. Although he was a little bit scared of it, he loved it.  They are great toys and when you pick them up and they are wriggling in your hands they feel like real large beetles. These SKITTERBOT Bugs are a great combination that kids like, fear, surprise and random craziness. If you don't have one, I recommend you get one, for home or the boardroom ;-)  #fixedreview

How To Quickly Stop Shaving Cut, Bleeding And Discomfort

If your in a hurry or briefly distracted its really easy to cut yourself deeply and painfully with a shaving razor.  What makes it worse is they bleed a lot, they are painful, and the blood goes everywhere.  You often have to stick bits of paper on the cut or allow it to scab up messily over time.  This video presents a really clean and efficient solution to the problem  #fixed1ttip

Identifying And Fixing A Dyson DC39 Loss Of Suction Problem

Just as I'd stop complaining about the DC39 after discovering I could empty it with my emptying tool, I discovered that have great suction and tight corners in pipes doesn't quite work.

For weeks I've been getting less and less suction for no obvious reason, and then it started a hi pitched whine or whistle like it was a heavy chain smoker on a cold damp morning.

Then I found the solution and now it works like new.

Karcher Window Vacuum Cleaner WV50 Real Life Test

I finished Karcher Window Vacuum Cleaner WV50 VAC'ing the rest of the insides of the windows, patio doors and glass doors and here are the results:

1) Its a remarkably fast process and really easy learn and master.

2) Doing all of the windows with the WV50 merely generated just over a centimetre of dirty water in the container.

Karcher Window Vacuum Cleaner WV50

Just 1cm of dirty water from over 10 windows and doors.
The best technique is:

i) Wet and gently scrub the window with a none abrasive Soft Cloth
ii) Start from the bottom of the window and stroke upwards
iii) Once you get to just below the centre of the window turn the WV50 upright and begin stroking down the window and come down to 10 below the dirty water line from the upward sweet.
iv) Don't let the glass dry out , instead quickly wipe off any residence from the window with clean  micro fibre cloth.

Using this method I was able to wash, wipe and polish each window in a few minutes.

I thoroughly recommend the Karcher Window Vacuum Cleaner WV50

Do iPad Protective Cases Really Protect? How About Throwing An iPad Off A 30ft Roof

Despite people relying heavily on technology, and investing substantial money per family unit in Apple iPad's and Android tablets most are sticking it flimsy flip cases, imagining that they offer protection in everyday situations, in reality they don't.

Which is good for people like me 'fixed1t' as I get to earn money from repairing them, but not for family units in these cash strapped times.

Now to a certain level, you get what you pay for, titanium case with innards floating in an intelligent shock absorbing gel, is great for the SciFi movies, but in reality people what something to help out if it is:
  • knocked off a table by a family pet (or child)
  • dropped by an intoxicated person your trying to show a video to
  • dropped by an older person as they fall asleep the 4th time on the same paragraph
  • dropped by an inquisitive child down the stairs
  • etc etc...
I watched this bonkers video of two iPads being thrown hard off a 30ft roof:

And thought HaHa that seems pretty crazy (but wouldn't I like to try it, if you could afford it)?

Although both iPads were damaged one was still flashing whilst the other was destroyed. Now I don't advocate doing this and for me personally a 30FT fall off a building is unlikely in most instances unless your watching a YouTube video on how to SAFELY install a roof top aerial, whilst balanced on a ladder 30ft up in a Gale.

But what I got from the videos was that OTTERBOX have some cool and pretty robust cases in the defender range and if you need a case then you should be able to get one from eBay at a range of prices.

Check Out Otterbox Defender Cases On eBay

or on Amazon UK

I'm certainly going to be using one.

Of course if you do happen to break the device I'll be happy to fixed1t it ;-)

If you a Nexus 7 user, they do a version of the Nexus 7, and if you damage it then you may want to consider having a go at repairing it, and the links are on my:
