Which is good for people like me 'fixed1t' as I get to earn money from repairing them, but not for family units in these cash strapped times.
Now to a certain level, you get what you pay for, titanium case with innards floating in an intelligent shock absorbing gel, is great for the SciFi movies, but in reality people what something to help out if it is:
- knocked off a table by a family pet (or child)
- dropped by an intoxicated person your trying to show a video to
- dropped by an older person as they fall asleep the 4th time on the same paragraph
- dropped by an inquisitive child down the stairs
- etc etc...
And thought HaHa that seems pretty crazy (but wouldn't I like to try it, if you could afford it)?
Although both iPads were damaged one was still flashing whilst the other was destroyed. Now I don't advocate doing this and for me personally a 30FT fall off a building is unlikely in most instances unless your watching a YouTube video on how to SAFELY install a roof top aerial, whilst balanced on a ladder 30ft up in a Gale.
But what I got from the videos was that OTTERBOX have some cool and pretty robust cases in the defender range and if you need a case then you should be able to get one from eBay at a range of prices.
Check Out Otterbox Defender Cases On eBay
or on Amazon UK
I'm certainly going to be using one.
Of course if you do happen to break the device I'll be happy to fixed1t it ;-)
If you a Nexus 7 user, they do a version of the Nexus 7, and if you damage it then you may want to consider having a go at repairing it, and the links are on my:
